Dicky Meadows is a variety of the Salix Purpurea family. The rods are straight and slender. The width is similar to Brittany Green.
When dried, Dicky Meadows acquires a grey/pale green tint. It is an excellent choice for fine basketry work. Dicky Meadows is another good variety for a beginner to use.
This variety is also used in the Jewish Festival of Sukkot.
