On our farm, Black Maul is usually stripped to create white willow rods. Producing these rods is very labour intensive. Our high quality white willow is highly sought after. Please be aware that white willow is not 'paper white'. It is slightly cream in colour.
Willow is sold by weight. Approximate number of rods per kilo; 3ft - 540 rods, 4ft - 270 rods, 5ft - 145 rods, 6ft - 80 rods, 7ft - 50 rods, 8ft - 35 rods
