Flanders Red willow rods are hardy with a waxy skin. The rod colour changes in colour from green at the butt end to red at the tip. It can grow 9ft long in a single growing season. No soaking required.

Whissender is similar to Black Maul. The striking lime green/yellow rods are stout and robust – ideal for big work. As the bark dries the rods turn a warm brown/yellow colour.
Green (fresh cut) willow does NOT require soaking.
