Black Maul is a very high quality basketry willow. The variety is suitable for weavers of all abilities. The longer the rod, the thicker it will be. A 6ft rod is around the same thickness as a pencil. An unsorted bundle will contain various different lengths. There may be grass and/or weeds in the bundle, some are deer eaten and have water /silt residue. Good for sculpture, rough hurdles, and anything else you can think of.
