A brake is used to strip green willow rods to create white willow rods.
2 versions are available, depending on the required mounting position.
In-line- will screw to the side of a bench ,or a post (approx 43 plus 10cm mounting bar long, 12 cm wide)
90 degree- will screw to the top of a bench, or a post (approx 43 cm long, 12cm wide)
Both can also be clamped to a post/bench or in a vice.
Working area for both approx 23cm. Bar diameter 12mm.
Each is handmade, so some variation may occur.

Used to trim skeins and other flat weaving materials into even, narrow strips.
Has pairs of sharp blades set at 1mm intervals from 2mm to 10mm widths. Magnetic wooden lid.
