Bundles & Bolts - Brown (dry) willow

Willow is sold by weight.  A traditional Somerset bundle (or bolt) measures 1ft in diameter and 3ft 1″ to 3ft 2″ in circumference around the butt (bottom) end. The table below details the weight of brown (dry) willow in a half or whole bundle.

If you normally buy brown willow in a bundle (or bolt) and require 5ft length rods, simply select the variety of willow, 5ft and then 12kg.

Please be aware that there may be occasions when the variety of willow and/or the time of the year affects the weight of a half bundle and/or bundle by half a kilo. The weight(s) available will always be clearly displayed when a rod length is selected.
