Pheasant Brown willow rods are reddish in colour. The bundle contains different size rods and may include some weeds and/or grass.

Black Maul is a supple and versatile willow. The willow isn’t black – it only takes on a black hue when steamed. Black Maul is held in high regard by weavers and is one of the best varieties of willow to use in beginners basketry.
Bundle contains different lengths and may include some grass and/or weeds in the bundle, some are deer eaten and have water /silt residue.
Requires soaking and mellowing to make the rods pliable.
