Buff Noir is willow that has been steamed and stripped of its bark. The willow rods have the qualities of buff, with the look of steamed willow. This makes Buff Noir a great choice for adding strips of colour to baskets and sculptures. The rods only require a short soak before mellowing. The soaking times are the same as those for buff willow.
Willow is sold by weight. Approximate number of rods per kilo; 3ft - 540 rods, 4ft - 270 rods, 5ft - 145 rods, 6ft - 80 rods
