Brown (dry) willow requires soaking and mellowing to make it pliable.

Product description

Caledendron willow rods are a lovely purple / brown colour when growing, and have a warm reddy tone when dried.
These taller rods are ideal for corner and bottom sticks, as well as handlebows. The longest rods are often used in Coracle making.

Caledendron is very flexible when soaked.

Brown (dry) willow requires soaking and mellowing to make it pliable.
These rods have prominent eyes towards the tops.
