This one-day course is the perfect introduction to willow weaving. You will choose from a wide range of projects using different types of weaves and willows. It's a fast-paced workshop with lots to learn.

Choice of projects may include: Large standing willow angel, Christmas Tree (or forest) on log, hanging Christmas trees, mini 2D reindeer on a log base, hanging reindeer, Scandinavian stars, woven stars (random or formal weave or ‘with a twist!), willow bark stars.

Please note:
This workshop is suitable for beginners or people who have done some basketry before.
You need a good level of manual dexterity in your fingers.
Should you have any specific needs please make us aware before attending the course.

What do I need to bring?
Glasses (if you need them for close-up work).
Notebook and pen if you wish to make note,s but e-notes & links will be sent after the workshop.
Old clothes, covered, flat shoes (no sandals or open toes), something to tie hair back with (if needed).
