Brown (dry) willow

Brown (dry) willow is willow that has been dried with its bark on. The colour, thickness and flexibility of the rod can differ greatly depending on the variety.

Willow is measured against a rule marked in foot increments. A 4ft bundle of rods may contain a range of rods from 3ft to 4ft long. Brown (dry) willow requires soaking and mellowing to make it flexible.

Willow is sold in bundles and half bundles. Some varieties are also available in 1kg bundles. Decide on the length of willow rods you require and the available bundle weights will be displayed.

Brown (dry) willow

Willow that has been dried with its bark on. Requires soaking and mellowing to make it pliable. Available in different varieties and various lengths.
