Product description

Mary Butcher is an incredibly talented basketmaker and teacher. Mary uses natural materials, plastics, wire, strings, cardboard strips and paper to make containers and sculptures in a variety of scales and forms.

Mary was Crafts Council Designer in Residence at the V&A between July and December 2009. This book offers an insight into Mary's exhibition pieces and the inspiration for her sculptures.
