With the next lockdown coming into effect on Thursday 5 November, we will need to reintroduce some restrictions.
As a coffin maker and distributor, Musgrove Willows is an essential business and members of our team are able to continue to work while adhering to government guidelines. The new working practices that we introduced in March have helped to keep everyone safe and well. Every member of staff has their temperature checked each morning.
Willow & willow products
We will continue to fulfil orders. If possible, please use our website to place your order. This enables us to monitor stock levels. Please do not visit our premises to collect an order. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
The size of our coffin workshop enables the weavers to work a considerable distance apart from one another. The length of the willow rods prohibits them from being in close proximity. We only use willow grown and processed on our farm, so we have plenty of supplies!
Unfortunately, families will not be able to visit us to help to weave a coffin for a loved one. We do offer a live streaming service – please contact us to arrange a time or speak to your funeral director. If you wish to order a coffin, please give us as much notice as possible. We are continuing to weave every coffin in our wide range as well as customised and bespoke designs.
Delivery companies are deemed to be an essential service so coffins, willow and other weaving products will still be dispatched as usual. Please allow a little extra time for the delivery to arrive.
All our courses are currently postponed. We are hoping to resume courses here in 2021. A schedule is yet to be decided. An online tutorial service is available.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish all our customers the very best in the coming weeks. If you do use the time to make something from willow, please email a picture of you finished piece to email@example.com. We love to share these images on social media.
