Business Update 24 March 2020

After the statement from the Prime Minister last night, the working landscape for the vast majority of us has significantly changed.

As a coffin maker and distributor, Musgrove Willows is deemed to be an essential business and members of our team are able to work under strict government guidelines.

The size of our coffin workshop enables the weavers to work a considerable distance apart from one another. (The length of the willow rods prohibits them from being in close proximity.) We only use willow grown and processed on our farm, so we have plenty of supplies! We will keep weaving willow coffins for as long as possible and endeavour to keep turnaround times to a matter of days.

Willow & Products

Please use our website to order willow and other products. All stock levels are maintained online. If an item is out of stock, please use the ‘Notify Me!’ button and we will contact you as soon as the item is available.

Willow Weaving Courses

We have taken the decision to postpone all March, April and May courses. We will be in touch with all those who have places booked. Hopefully, we will be able to resume our courses in the summer. Thank you to everyone for their kind words and support.

At present, the delivery companies we usually use - DX and Palletways - are still working as they are also deemed to be an essential service. Coffins, willow and other weaving products will still be dispatched as usual. PLEASE DO NOT VISIT OUR FARM TO COLLECT ITEMS.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish all our customers the very best in the coming weeks. If you do use the time to make something from willow, please email a picture to We would love to share something positive on social media.
