I just wanted to drop you a line to say how much Mabel and I enjoyed our day with the delightful Tom Hare on Sunday. My only disappointment was that there was not enough time! The exhibition was fab, and we already have our willow in soak! I would be very interested to hear if you intend to run any two days courses at some point. Louisa and I had such a lovely day on the course, and found it really useful and inspiring. We will definitely be able to use the skills in our teaching. We showed the school photos of the work on the course in assembly and talked about it. The kids are all excited about working on the phoenix we started.

I thoroughly enjoyed the course and was surprised at how many items we made during the time here. Well worth a re-visit to try out other things. Excellent lunch also.

Dear Ellen Just to say how much I enjoyed today's course. It was very interesting to learn about the different types of willow and learn how to use them in garden features. The sunshine was an added bonus, and the lunch and cake of course.
I have been looking round the garden for a suitable sunny spot to have a seat, though I must make something with the green willow first.

We have been trying to get him what he needs for his basket weaving for over a year (since the last company he used went online only). He was absolutely over the moon when you rang him and is already deciding what he is making for us all! It is so nice that you have gone out of your way to help him! I am so pleased I found you on the web and am grateful that your support has allowed him to continue with his hobby. What great customer service and the fact you went out of your way to ring him and talk to him about it was an added bonus and it really made his day! You certainly have restored my faith in the fact there are genunine people out there!

Ellen and Michael - thank you so much for a really excellent visit on Saturday.(May16th 2009) Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves learning about willow production, seeing it in use and then 'having a go'! All something quite unique to this area so totally new to them.
And the lunch was fantastic! Please thank Holly for her contribution - the little cakes were lovely and I admire her patience with such a fiddly job!

Just wanted to say thank you for a great day yesterday. Dad and I had a really good time and were astounded that two complete novices could both produce a sculpture that we are more than happy to have in our own gardens. Charlie was an excellent tutor, very relaxed, easy to ask our many questions and help us when we got stuck!
I think Dad is planning to bring Mum with him next time to do a basket course and I am working out when I can do one of the Christmas workshops!

I attended a basking making course last Sunday with a friend and we just wanted to pass on our appreciation of the day. Although slightly wonky, we are very proud of our first attempt at a basket and will be back for more next year. We would especially like to mention the lunch - we were very surprised at such a delicious spread; we had been expecting the usual dreary sandwich, so to see your huge spread of home cooking was a real treat. Thank you.
