Living Willow rods are suitable for many projects including fedges (living hedges), 'Wigloos' willow domes/igloos, willow tunnels and archways, soil erosion projects and ground cover for wildlife.
Choose Hybrid 1 or Hybrid 2 for your main dome or tunnel framework. Choose Flanders Red as infill rods to add colour.
• | | A very waxy rod varying in colour from green at the butt end to a striking red at the tip. We would recommend this rod be used as ground cover, filling in as lattice work on living tunnels and domes and for soil erosion projects. |
| • | | Hybrid Disease Resistant Variety 1. A Swedish variety bred rod, slower growing than Hybrid 2. A warm brown smooth rod, very slim for its length, excellent for all Living Willow projects. |
| • | | Hybrid Disease Resistant Variety 2. A Swedish bred Osier Willow Rod. Thick stemmed, slight furry feel to the rod making it ideal for children's domes, tunnels and play areas. Slightly faster growing than Hybrid 1. |
