Ginger Cat Willow - Jane Foddy

www.gingercatwillow.co.uk

Jane is an artist who expresses her love of Nature through her willow sculptures. She says: “I love the feel of natural materials and being able to make 3D shapes”.

“It’s fascinating the way my willow sculptures evolve, for example I began making a horse but the posture suggested something different and it became a 5 foot giraffe!”

Her passion is for weaving horses in realistic poses, but people also want other animals made out of willow such as chickens, ducks, pigs and herons which move in the wind. She works to commission and also sells her sculptures in markets in Cheshire where she lives and exhibits in shows.
